C'est La Vie Boutik Swieqi

Wonderful small hotel with freshly designed rooms and bathrooms; all very well thought out. We enjoyed a great breakfast each morning in the small restaurant next to the hotel ( they work together) and had dinner there too most evenings. Great Italian food in an Italian restaurant run by Italians. The location is not far from Valetta but with public transport it takes easily 40 minutes as busses don't always show up at the time published. Traffic is pretty chaotic so we decided not to drive ourselves. Valetta is amazing; we went back a couple of times for a walk and lunch.

The best part was having been treated so well by all staff. The restaurant's manager (Fabio), and his waiters and waitresses will do everything they can to make your experience one of the best. They share every piece of information of the surroundings. The extra point goes to my incredible experience of meeting the hotel owner and his daughter by chance. Both Marc and Irina are so humble and supportive. I will definitely go back and repeat business. This has become my favourite choice for Valletta-Malta.

The location was perfect for our needs. The check-in process was very easy, even though we arrived late. The room and bathroom were modern and spacious. As for the downsides, there is a construction site right across from the hotel, and the morning noise is not very pleasant.

Everything was good with this property. This is a relatively new property. Beside all the amneties being as expected, the interaction with the stuff was great. First, even if not requested, they upgraded us for free to a 3 bed room as we had or kid with us. Also, they were super flexible and well equiped (electronic keys) for a very late checkin and super early checkout. The locations is like 1 km from Paceville & Saint Julians. At least for us this neighborhood was perfect as it's less busy, pretty authentic (small pastizzeria and a few cafes nearby) and, at least around the new year period it was free and easy parking everyday. The place is ideal if you have a car, not sure about other use cases. Thanks to the hosts for a good stay and will be back!

I stayed here a week and it was perfect choice. Got the bus pass and traveled all over the Island easily. The TD 13 bus is your friend, so learn it well. Very new, very clean, very well designed, has a wow cool factor and I'm an engineer and not impressed much, very high tech room, everything including electric curtains controlled by a central control. Big room for Europe, great bathroom. Helpful staff. The restaurant is run by Fabio and his wife, who are wonderful. Had my best meal of a one month trip in Europe including two Michelin star restaurants. A fantastic mixture of fish, shellfish, olives in a perfect sauce. Wow. If you ask kindly, he might make it for you too. :-). Not sure it was on menu. The best restaurants are run by real people that understand good food and enjoy sharing it with others. Fabio does.
